| Since its inception, In order to manage escalating Diabetes, AMRI Hospitals has introduced AMRI INSTITUTE OF DIABETES & HORMONAL DISORDERS at 38/1A, Gariahat Road, Kolkata, just across the Dhakuria Bridge, opposite to AMRI - Main building. The Institute provides comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation, education, and treatment, including life-style support to the diabetics. It also focuses on the identification and management of pre-diabetics as this will prevent or delay onset of diabetes. This identification is done through a scientific screening program which will identify those who are likely to become diabetics in near future and they will be taken through a life style management program. The team includes a group of highly qualified Doctors (Endocrinologists/ Diabetologists), Podiatrist, Dietician, ophthalmologist/Optometrist, Dentist & Diabetic Educator. |
| The Institute offers unique schemes: |
| DIABETIC CLUB MEMBERSHIP - Rs. 5000 which constitutes of 4 consultations with specialist doctor, dietician, podiatrist, diabetic educator in a year, ie quarterly, 4 times investigations of Glucose Fasting, Glucose PP and HbA1c and yearly check up of Lipid Profile, Creatinine, TSH, Potassium, Urine ACR, ECG. |
| CONSULTATION BASIC - Rs. 500 constituting of consultations with Diabetologist, Dietician, Diabetic Educator and Podiatrist, Dental checkup and Eye checkup (including fundal photography). This package is mandatory for diabetic patients coming between 8 am to 2 pm. |
| CONSULTATION BASIC FOLLOWUP - Rs. 250 constituting of consultation with Diabetologist and with others if required. |
| INVESTIGATION PACKAGE - Rs. 1000, constituting of the following investigations- HbA1c, Lipid Profile, Blood Glucose, Serum Creatinine, Urine Dip Stick, Urine Albumin Creatinine Ratio. |
