Dr Runa Majumdar is a General Paediatrician and Neonatologist with special interest in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. She has been working as a Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist in AMRI Mukundapur from 2012. 
After graduating from North Bengal Medical College she worked in Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS trust for 13 years. She completed her DCH and MRCPCH from UK.  She then completed her specialist training in Paediatrics from the Yorkshire Deanery (CCST). She has also done a Masters in Medical Science ( Child Health) from Leeds University. During this tenure her thesis was on the Incidence prevalence and aetiology of Congenital hypothyroidism in Leeds and Bradford. This has been presented Nationally and internationally ( ESPE , Helsinki). She has several publications to her credit.
