Dr. Sumantra Roy is a General and Laproscopic Surgeon, who after completing MS (Surgery) from Kolkata, pursued MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and DAMS (Bariatric Surgery) from AMASI. He worked in AIIMS, New Delhi, as a Senior Resident in the Surgery and Renal Transplant department. He has undertaken special training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Critical Care, laparoscopic hernia, and laparoscopic solid organ surgery. Dr. Roy often lends his skills to kidney transplants, besides performing vascular surgery (Haemodialysis), Breast & Endocrine Surgery, and Trauma surgery, having assisted in more than 1,000 successful cases. Actively interested in academic research and workshops, he is invited to deliver lectures at conferences in Italy, Kochi, and New Delhi.
