I am Dr. Avijit Basak, an acclaimed surgeon in the fields of Gynaecology & Obstetrics including Gynaecological Cosmetic surgery as well as advanced Laparoscopic surgery. I am based at Kolkata and currently attached with AMRI Hospital, Mukundapur as a Senior Consultant(G&O). My expertise and proficiency encompasses in the surgical and research field for more than sixteen years comprising numerous regular, critical and rare surgical interventions. I earned the degree of MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College, under University of Calcutta and further awarded with the degree of MS(G&O) from Burdwan Medical College under WBUHS. In due course, I have undergone courses earning a Diploma and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeon (WALS) under World Laparoscopic Hospital, Gurgaon. I have also become a Fellow in Robotic Surgery from International college of Robotic Surgeons under World Laparoscopic Hospital, Gurgaon.
