Dr Suranjan Mukherjee is a renowned Pulmonologist in Eastern India and has decades of experience on the subject. After completing his post graduation from Kolkata, he pursued his further specialisation from UK and has been the former consultant of Stafford Hospital and Deputy Royal College Tutor. He has published in various national and International journals.

He has fellowship of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Royal College of Physicians, London, American College of Chest Physicians and is the member of American Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society, Indian Chest Society, Association of Chest Physicians, West Bengal.
