Dr Paramita Chowdhury has been practicing as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist in Kolkata for last 6 yrs. After completing MBBS from Calcutta University, she went on to do her MD in Medicine. She then did her super specialisation of DM Endocrinology from the prestigious Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. She is experienced in treating adult patients with thyroid disorders, diabetes & diabetes related complications, obesity, polycystic ovarian disease, pituitary tumours & hypopituitarism, adrenal disorders and adrenal tumours, hypogonadism, and metabolic bone diseases. She is also experienced in treating paediatric endocrinological disorders like Type 1 DM, DKA, short stature & growth failure, puberty related disorders, DSD, CAH and rickets. She has presented her work on Endocrinolgical manifestations in Thalassemia patients at ENDO 2016, Boston.S he has also presented at multiple state and national conferences of Endocrinology.
