Prof. (Dr) Kalyan Bhattacharya is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Head of the Radiotherapy Department at AMRI Hospitals. Prof Bhattacharya has done his MD, DNB and PhD in Radiotherapy and served as Head of the Department of different Medical Colleges of Kolkata. The first Modern Disease Accelerator based on Modern Radiotherapy Centre in Eastern India was established at Dhakuria Unit in the year 2005 with all latest technology for accurate Radiation Delivery System under leadership of Prof. Bhattacharya. Prof. Bhattacharya received his fellowship from PGI, Chandigarh and served as Clinical Radiotherapist at University hospital Leeds, UK. He has multiple publication in prestigious journals and lectured at various Universities like AIIMS, New Delhi. He is examiner of Calcutta University, DNB examinations under National Board of Examination.
