After completing MBBS & MS from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, he did MCh Cardiothoracic & Vascular surgery from the prestigious IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. After that he worked in reputed hospitals in Hyderabad like Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills, Continental Hospitals & Virinchi Hospital. In 2018 he joined AMRI Hospitals,Bhubaneswar and till date continuing there as Consultant Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon. He is well known as a very versatile Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon who does all kinds of Adult & Pediatric Cardiac surgeries, Minimally invasive Cardiac surgeries, Thoracic surgeries, VATS, ECMO, Vascular & Endovascular surgeries and does not hesitate to take up difficult, complicated & challenging cases with the motto to provide the best of cardiothoracic & vascular surgery to his patients. He runs an extremely successful Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery programme with the honours to do the first minimally invasive CABG & minimally invasive MVR with tricuspid valve repair in Odisha.
