Mr Rupak Barua, Director & Group CEO, is a name well-known in the healthcare sector of India. He holds a Post-Graduate degree in Marketing and successfully completed MDP in Hospital Management from IIM-Ahmadabad and IIM-Bangalore. In a career spanning more than three decades, he has held several senior positions in hospital administration at major corporate hospitals of Kolkata. Mr Barua is the Secretary of the Association of Hospitals of Eastern India (AHEI) and Co-Chairman of the Healthcare Sub-Committee of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII-Eastern Region). A member of several social bodies, he has played an important role in changing and improving the present healthcare delivery system at Kolkata.

Mr Ashish Goenka, Full-time Director, holds an MBA degree, with specialisation in Finance, from the Coventry University, UK. An alumnus of the Bhawanipore Education Society College, Kolkata, his core areas of business interest are Marketing, Finance, Business expansion, and Service improvement. He has also been instrumental in developing the hospitals under the healthcare group to meet the needs of a technology-driven world and providing advanced services to patients. In his other avatar he is part of the Emami business group, one of the India's largest multi-sector business majors for the past two decades.

Mr Rajesh Pareek, Full-time Director, holds a degree in Law, besides being a qualified Company Secretary. After working in finance for some years, he joined the AMRI Hospitals in 1997. Initially starting as an Accounts Officer, he rose up the ranks, taking care of various aspects of hospital management, from administration to operations, over the past two decades. He has been a leading part of the team that set up the Group's state-of-the-art hospital facility at Bhubaneswar.

Mr Anil Kr Malawat, Full-time Director, an alumnus of the Bhawanipore Education Society College, earned an Honours Bachelor's degree in Commerce, before pursuing a Diploma in Hospital Administration from Apollo and successfully completing an Executive MBA Programme from the Vinayaka Institute. After working for 14 years as a financial consultant, he started working in the healthcare sector. While he has spent two decades in healthcare, he has been associated with the AMRI Hospitals for more than 16 years. In a long career across finance and hospital administration, he has found a strong footing in administration, operations, marketing and public relations.

Mr Om Prakash Jhunjhunwala, Independent Director, is a practicing lawyer with leading law firm, Khaitan & Co, Advocates. A qualified Attorney-at-Law and Partner of the firm, he is an eminent legal practitioner with more than 40 years of experience in various branches of law, particularly Civil Law, Arbitration, Maritime Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Constitutional Law. A well-known strategist, he has vast experience in complex litigation. In the course of his practice, he has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and lower Courts across the country.

Ms Karabi Sengupta, Independent Director, is a Bachelor in Architecture from Jadavpur University. She was associated with the West Bengal Housing Board for almost 30 years and retired in 2011 after serving as the Board's Chief Architect for 10 years. She has also been an Architectural Advisor and subsequently the Chief Architect to Newtown Kolkata Development Authority for another decade. She has vast experience in strategy, planning and administration.
