It is becoming the next front in the fight against Covid-19, as private hospitals look to ease the burden on the healthcare systems across the country. VIRTUAL HOME CARE SERVICES use video interaction with healthcare professionals, to guide, reassure, aide and facilitate the process of clinical care-giving enriched with experience, expertise and empathy.
Who can avail the Virtual Home Care Services?
It is meant only for those individuals who are home bound with asymptomatic or very mildly symptomatic Covid-19 infection, having tested positive for the disease from Government recognized Pathological Laboratories and are on mandatory isolation or quarantine.
Home care services will reduce overcrowding at hospitals. About 70-80 per cent of coronavirus-positive patients show no or very mild symptoms. The recovery period for such patients is 14-17 days if proper home isolation guidelines are followed.This will be in accordance with relevant guidelines issued by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
